    Description

Ceramiques de St. Clement Luneville, French Faience Barbotine Majolica Ceramic. Vintage, new / never used, 2005.
(Note: many pieces are cast from antique molds; Luneville was founded in Lorraine, France in 1748).  12 piece tropical fruit motif dessert plate set.
    Set includes:
10 pc   8" dessert plates.  2 of each in the following motifs:  Fig, Date, Pomegranate, Pineapple, Melon.
This was imported by me in 2005 for my Ft Lauderdale, FL Boutique.  I was the only importer of Luneville in the USA at the time.  A week after my boutique opened, retail was killed by Hurricane Wilma (most powerful hurricane in Ft Lauderdale history), followed not long afterward by the Great Recession, the merchandise has sat in my warehouse space since, and I am now offering it here on Ebay for less than my own cost to purchase wholesale, and have it delivered to me from France.
[Note: The three main / important ingredients used to make all true porcelain are 1) white kaolin clay, 2) quartz, and 3) feldspar.  The fine quality white bisque ceramic which is produced by simply leaving out the feldspar is called "Petit Porcelain" - ie "Little Porcelain" and is used for majolica, etc.]
Note: The buyer is required to pay the flat rate shipping fee regardless of the delivery service used by seller, and regardless of the amount (whether higher or lower than said fee) the seller must pay to said delivery service for the shipping of said purchase to the buyer.
