1971 OLYMPIA SM9 Portable Manual Typwriter w/Orig Case, Works Well, Very Clean!

Description

This is a 1971 OLYMPIA SM9 Portable Manual Typwriter with Original Latching Case. Both parts are in very good condition, and have been well taken care of. It was made in Germany, which is known for quality design and engineering.
The serial number, shown in lower right of underside photo, is #42644300, which dates it to 1971 production.
The typewriter keys all work efficiently, with none that stick or fail to strike, as do the settings mechanisms and the carriage return lever. The minor defects I can see are cosmetic only: light ink dots behind carriage, strips of residue from tape adhesive on each side which would probably clean off. The case has no defects, and is clean.
