E – 31. Two German Lufthansa First Flight Covers with 1972 Olympic stamps. The 2 Olympic items are oversized. The blue Legal-sized envelope is sealed.

August 29, 1972 Kiel, Germany to Munich, Germany. Approx. 4-1/4 x 8-1/2 inch light blue envelope franked with an Olympic Souvenir Sheet of four Semi-postal stamps. The semi postal stamps show Olympic events. Envelope has 3 circular black “Kiel 72” postmarks and one black Munich postmark. Return address on back. CONDITION: Minor age tanning and small corner bumps. Very Good condition.
August 29, 1972 Olympic Souvenir Sheet featuring 4 Semi-postal stamps showing Air views of the Olympic Village venues. The souvenir sheet measures approx. 4 x 5-3/4 inches. Souvenir sheet is affixed to an over-sized white Paper postcard (?) measuring 6 x 8-1/2 inches. Black Kiel and Munch, Germany postmarks. Red Lufthansa Olympic marking. Return address on reverse. This large postcard (?) is printed on thinner paper stock than a standard or continental size postcard. CONDITION: Corner bends/ bumps. Age tanning and soiling along the edges of front side. Slight wavy effect to card. No writing. FAIR condition
