    Description

The Bennett is the "smallest perfect machine made" acccording to the ad copy of its era, at about the size of a box of chocolates in its case. The novelty design and size make it a darling among collectors.
This typewriter is sold as is. The ribbon is old and needs to be replaced, and while the key action feels reclaimable for the most part, the period key appears to be bent out of shape. The knobs on either side of the platen are missing. There could be other parts missing that we're unaware of; see our extensive photos for details.
We felt a little out of our depth with this particular machine and opted to clean it up a little and sell it to someone who specializes in this model. It can be your next restoration project or a parts machine to help fix the one you already have. Fully restored, these little machines go for hundreds of dollars at the low end.
We know how to ship typewriters, so rest assured that this machine will reach your door undamaged.
