    Description

This is the ringside bell used in the "FINALLY Tyson vs Holyfield" fight, November 6th 1996. Craig Slayton, who worked audio for television for 40 plus years, was an on site, ringside audio engineer for this fight. When the fight ended he noticed the bell sitting on a nearby table, loaded it into one of his road cases and brought it home as a souvenir, it sat in his collection until his death, September 7th 2021. This is the story as recounted by his best friend of whom I bought the bell from as it was told to him by Craig. I have no COA as this is nearly impossible to authenticate in that fashion, personally I have no reason not to believe the story and I can't think of a reason why Craig would have made it up. Included in the auction is his laminate for the fight (see photos).
