    I am not sure exactly how many feet are on the roll, but the tag says 1000.  I do see two open ends on the outer layer of cable which means there is a piece that was cut and then rolled back on to the spool (see second to last picture).  Also, this spool was sitting in the shed for awhile and the bottom wood got wet and deteriorated some (see last picture).
