By Creative is this vintage yet modern dish set with service for 4. Called Platinum Star Burst, these fine china pieces feature gray and light blue spiked floral with occasional red centers and thin gray stems. All are edged with thin silver bands and the teacups have a silver band on the handles as well. Each service setting consists of one 9 ¼" salad/luncheon plate 6 ⅜" bread/dessert plate 5 ¾" saucer 2" teacup This dish set is being sold as a 16 piece set with service for 4. All pieces are in excellent condition with no cracks or chips and have little to no wear in utility marks, scuffs or wear to the silver bands. Some manufacturing faults may exist on some pieces but none affect the use or display values. All pieces are marked on their bottoms with, "Creative, Fine China, 1014, Japan, S (within a circle)". This is a pretty set with the potential to fit in nicely with modern settings.
