    Description

    E. O. Brody  mass manufactured utility glass floral containers exclusively for the florist industry thru wholesale florists.  Made by US Glass, these were marked with EO's molds and marked with the company name.  Brody company, founded in 1958, was merged into Anchor Hocking in 1971 along with Indiana and Lancaster Colony Glass Companies.
This piece could have been manufactured anytime between 1958 and 1971.  Due to the date uncertain, I have not listed as "Vintage"
The Brody products were mostly inexpensive, mass-produced, vases, bowls and flower pots.  These pieces were sold for 50 cents to a dollar.  Prices are still low; however, they may become collectible items one day.  The fact that they are clearly marked will eventually add to their value.

This piece is approximate:  5.30"X6.30"X3.75". There are no chips, marks or faded areas.  I have owned this piece for several years and use it at holiday events as the green and pedestal nature of the style are lovely on a holiday buffet.  Our home is smoke free; however, we do share a glass or two from time to time!
