The collectible coin from the Liberian Apostle series depicts one of the most famous and venerated Apostles, Paul (Paulus in Latin). He is also widely known as Saint Paul and some other names; he is the author of several parts of the New Testament and the founder of the oldest European and Minor Asian Christian churches. Saint Paul is often mentioned together with the Saint Peter, the other Apostle. Together they established the church in Rome and were martyred there as well. The reverse of the collectible silver piece bears the relief image of Paul’s standing figure in the circumference. The saint is surrounded by the Biblical scenes with his participation; the halo around his head is gilded. The outer border around the Saint Paul’s image contains the images related to Paul; they are divided in a puzzle manner.
