Available here is a Lot of 2 slightly imperfect Japanese practice swords that have been crafted from oak hardwood. Due to my high standards of quality, I'm selling these as "imperfect" because some of them may have slight nicks in the wood, very fine hairline cracks, knots in the wood that detract from their beauty, or may have points/tips that are not perfectly pointy or symmetrical. These are still good practice swords with plenty of life left in them; they're just not what I'd call 100% perfect. The picture shows the variety I have available. But please note:
I can only send what I have available at the time of purchase. My inventory changes often, so I cannot accept requests or guarantee which type of sword you receive. Again, your purchase of a quantity of 1 in this listing is actually for a Lot of 2 swords.
Most of these practice swords
measure between 39 and 40 inches in length, with the exception of the one in the second photo (which measures about 29 inches, comes with a nice scabbard, and features a thin blade that is not intended for full-force contact). Some of the swords
feature traditional cord-wrapped handles and hand-carved designs on the blades. Others are more simplistic or traditional in style. One particular model I have available (located on the very bottom of the photo) has a thinner blade and comes with a carved scabbard. This particularly elaborate model is very rare, and I don't have very many left. Please see the picture for more details.
