Oympia SM7 Portable Manual Typewriter, Fully Functional But Needs Work. Condition is "Used". PLEASE READ DESCRIPTION BEFORE BIDDING OR PURCHASE. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
Here is a nice "fixer-upper" for the experienced repair person. Previous owner dumped some sort of gunk (WD40?) into the segment and on the type bars and froze a bunch of the keys. I unstuck a bunch of them with mineral spirits but more sophisticated cleaning agents than I possess are needed to fully free them.
All mechanical features in working order, other than the stuck keys; margin bell is authoritative and the color scheme is attractive: White, Grey with Green and shiny chrome accents. Extra long page support is nice too. Typeface is ELITE.
Case is in good shape, working lock-in feature and latches - will need the bit of rust around the handle and front latch attended to.
