Jaws are "Removable/Changeable"
The special QC-Mate Jaws are precision laser cut and Formed from robust 13-ga. Steel, then black-oxide finished for rust prevention. The design includes large structural side gussets for extreme clamping strength, and the attachment locations of the "clamp jaws" take advantage of the clamps most robust molded features.
Dedicated
“Uni-Jaw”
sets are the most rubust QC-Mate Clamp tooling available. By keeping the clamping forces at the base of the clamp they create the most force and least amount of clamp deflection.
"Duo-Jaw"
sets provide “flexibility” in that they combine Two NPT fitting sizes per Jaw and potentially fewer tooling change-overs. However, since the "larger diameter" is at the top of the jaw, they are recommended for “lower pressure” applications.
