    Rare Remington No.5 Blindwriter! When was the last time you saw one come up for sale?
    Excellent Original Condition!!! An example in such amazing original condition and so complete seldom makes itself available nowadays.
    Cosmetically, the typewriter is very good. Excellent paint and pinstripes. No breaks to the frame. No breaks to the wooden sublevers. And the paper table is still present (!!!) which is often missing. Obviously there is a lot of grime but it will clean up nicely.
    Functionally, the carriage advances and returns well. Yes, the drawband is a replacement made of twine but it is working. As far as antique typewriters go, this is considered a working example (but not ideal for regular typing).
    Again, this is an VERY GOOD-TO-EXCELLENT EXAMPLE!!!
