    Description

Rem-Blick Typewriter with original hinged wooden case and one additional cylindrical typing element. RARE!
    In 1926
Remington bought the rights and production material from Blickensderfer. This was the beginning of the short lived Rem-Blick typewriter. Production began in 1927 and ended in 1929
    .
The Blickensderfers were portable machines, by size and weight, comparable with the several index typewriters that still exist, offering a full QWERTY keyboard (as in this Rem-Blick). They were slow machines, despite the "golf-ball" of types which preceded by four decades the IBM Selectrics, which makes them highly collectible today.
Condition is "Used" but still in operating condition.
The typewriter and case weighs approximately 12 pounds. The item will be carefully packed and shipped to your Ebay-registered address in the lower 48 United States (not to Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico or Canada) via USPS Priority Mail.
