Up for your consideration A PIECE OF HISTORY, this silverware set sold as is, since it’s been used a few times, it was hand made and is made of brass as opposed to stainless. I have thoroughly inspected the set and found it to be in general good shape, the set will need to be cleaned.
The set was a commemorative present received in gratitude for cooking services rendered to the Royal Korean Air Force Mission Support Forces during their intelligence gathering support to our American troops during the Vietnam war.
Beautifully handcrafted brass-ware utensil set with hardwood handles in a wooden case with a red velvet liner.
The box itself is of solid construction, having only a small damage to the wood veneer on the underside; the lining has become partially unglued at the saddles that support the utensils, as this is already at the very least 50 plus years old, a vintage item. The box remains open as you prop it back on it’s forward lid that folds down to gain access to the drawers and slide out the bottom shelf.
My descriptions are thorough, but please ask any questions you might have before purchasing since there is no returns on this item.
