The Flow Magazine Winter 2013 flameworking lampworking NEW glass artist tutorial
Winter 2013 version of The Flow Magazine with tutorials for the lampworking artist.   This is the 9th Annual Gallery of Women in Glass issue showcasing the work of 150 flameworking artists.
Michele Coletti demonstrates techniques for creating with Double Helix Clio silver reactive glass
Kristen Pickett demonstrates the creation of a Cupid figure poised to shoot his bow and arrow
Jami Leigh demonstrates forming a clear maria, then adding dots in clusters and rows to create an angel design
Susan Hood demonstrates the creation of a hollow bead covered with silver leaf or foil, cooled, and shattered into shards for use in decoration of a dragon's head bead
Aja Vaz demonstrates using a Puffy Mandrel to form hollow
beads, adding decorations with fuming rod, fine silver, and stringer and then tumble-etched for a matte finish
Mary Lockwood demonstrates using clear glass to form a base bead with random swipes of striking silver glass and encased with clear. This bead is then shattered so the shards can be used to decorate a black or opaque blue bead to add the appearance of the Northern Lights shining on the finished bead
