Tool for Aligning Typeslugs on a Typewriter
This proper typewriter tool is used to re-align the slugs to assure an even impression on paper. It is reversible, so it can bring either the top or the bottom of the slug closer to the paper. See the pics for how to use. The pins are grooved to prevent slipping in use. It also has a crimping jaw though I'm not sure how to use that.
