VetLine ‘modified’ Scott’s Tap Water Substitute Concentrate 10x is a precise 'bluing reagent' used in hematoxylin and eosin staining procedures.
Final solution is prepared by mixing 1 part of VetLine ‘modified’ Scott′s Tap Water Substitute Concentrate with 9 parts deionized water (i.e. This 500 ml bottle makes 5 Liters of solution). Modified formulation offers gentle but appropriate bluing solution for staining while minimizing loss of tissue and cells from glass slides and repeatable results.
Does NOT contain any hazardous chemicals. Advanced formulation makes it odorless (hence easy to work with), ecofriendly, bio-based green product, allowing room temperature storage without mold formation.
