    Description

    The Westmoreland Glass Company was founded in 1889 when a group of men purchased the Specialty Glass Company of Ohio only to move to Grapeville, Pennsylvania. Once relocated in Grapeville, Westmoreland's main production revolved around pressed glass tableware lines, mustard jars, and candy containers.
    Today, Westmoreland tableware continued to grow in popularity despite its closing in 1984.
