WB Mattel Harry Potter Hermione Granger Emma Watson Doll Head 1:6 Barbie Girl

In this listing we have a really cool doll head. This doll head was released by Mattel under a partnership with WB for the anniversary of the Harry Potter films. This doll head is designed to look like Emma Watson as Hermione Granger from Harry Potter and they did a really great job! She dark brown hair with dark copper red highlights with a center part and bangs, light brown eyes, and light pink lips. I love her painted freckles!  She’s a really great likeness! This doll head is 1:6 scale, so she is Barbie sized. This is the original release (from the new line), so she’s supposed to be a younger girl doll and might need a smaller replacement body. This doll head was made in China. My pictures came out a little muted, some colors (especially hair) are more vibrant in person.
This doll head is in good shape. It has never been played with and was just taken out of the box. It does have a few factory issues. The doll’s hair is still in the original factory set. It did get a little mussed from taking her out of the box and taking off her head, so she will need some minor hair help. Just some lightl styling to get her looking lovely again. Her bangs in some spots have shifted, so they might needed to be gelled back into place. The doll’s hair is a bit thin at the part line. There’s some spots where you can see her scalp and the plugs of hair through the top layer of rooting. Mattel has been rooting their dolls thinner and thinner these days, so this is something I’ve been seeing a lot from Mattel dolls. The back of the doll’s head will need some attention to cover the back. The hair is parted and shows off the doll’s scalp. The doll’s bangs are a little choppy. The doll’s face paint looks good. The doll’s eyebrows are nice. In the right brow there’s a few spots where the paint is a little thinner compared to the rest of the brow. On the left eyebrow at the start of the brow at the top there is a small chip to the top of the brow. The paint is also a bit thin on the left brow, but the it’s more obvious on the right side. The doll’s eyes look good without any obvious issues. The doll’s teeth look good. She does have a couple small thin spots to the center of her teeth paint. They’re pretty minor, but you can see them. The paint just isn’t as full as it could be in some spots. The doll’s neck rim looks good. There is a small black line on the back left of the rim. It looks to be a small cosmetic issue. On the internal neck rim there’s a few molded in notches to the vinyl. I’ve seen this a lot from Mattel dolls. I don’t think it will be an issue, but I would be careful with it since it could be a weak spot.  Please examine all pictures to see the exact condition of this doll head and please keep in mind some issues are more visible in person compared to pictures.
