Westmoreland Paneled Grape Milk Glass Handled Basket

Description

A vintage circa 1950’s to 1970’s basket from Westmoreland glass in the very popular Paneled Grape pattern. The basket has a
tall base which makes it perfect for tall or long stem flowers. The outside of the basket has a raised pattern of grapes and leaves, the pattern continues around to the sides of the basket. The ruffled opening edge shows where each panel is on the side. The handle is textured to give the impression that it is a vine, a continuation of the grape vine pattern on the sides. The basket measures about 11” tall, the oval basket is about 7 ½“ long and about 4” across the basket at the handles. The basket is marked on the bottom with the W over G mark. The basket is free of chips cracks or flaws. There are no use or water marks on the interior of the basket.
