Offered is a wonderful vintage 1930s TWA NC223Y Douglas airplane made proudly by the famous Japanese toy company, Kuramochi, with beautiful details on the body, paneling, and wings along with red engraving of “TWA, NC223Y” on the wings.
CK, or Kuramochi Co.
, was a pre-war (1930s) Japanese tinplate toy maker which made models of American airplanes and cars such as Graham-Paige, Packard, Buick, Plymouth, and Chrysler. Simple but effective clockwork motors powered these toys which some even had electric lights.
This TWA NC223Y Douglas airplane is in perfect condition with the exception of some hairline scratches throughout due to its age.
